We do not stock, nor will we ship, pond grade Koi.

Every Koi from Werner's Water Gardens is quarantined for at least 4 Weeks at a different location--during that time we check and correct for microscopic and visible parasites, any other start of diseases or general poor condition of the fish. Koi that show even the slightest sign of low immunity or chronic disease, are kept in quarantine for up to 6 months. After the 6 months the fish is deemed incurable and destroyed.

   Every Koi from Werner's is packed in 200lb. test boxes, double bagged, with styrofoam insulation, ice packs (if needed) and pure Oxygen. Box and ice pack charges apply. We do not add chemicals of any kind to the water of shipped fish.


Every Koi from Werner's must be picked up from the airport within 4 hours of arrival for our 48 hour warranty-In order to receive credit, the fish must be returned frozen within 72 hours, with a sample of the pond water.

Important Notice

We, at Werner's, have not had any outbreaks of Koi Herpes Virus or SVC, due in part, to our superior off-site Quarantine and handling procedures (thanks Roark). As you're probably aware of, several large breeders have closed their doors because of these diseases, please be careful who you deal with.
